VICTORIAN COMMUNITY HISTORY AWARDS

We have been thrilled that Val Wilson won the Multimedia Award in this years Victorian Community History Awards. Val received this for her research which she has put onto a website to cover the Mornington Pioneer graves at the Mornington Cemetery.

She has been assisted by Murray Adams who help Val realise her vision to publish her research. We are sure if you visit this site, you too will be amazed at the ease with which you can navigate around, and be thrilled at the information Val has managed to find to bring our pioneer's stories to life.

We were also the recipients of a Commendation Award for our Mornington Heritage Walk for which we thank Vicky Sapkin for her vision and tenacity in seeing the project through. This walk takes the particpant on a self guided tour along the Esplanade and includes the history Mornington Park and foreshore. This walk is available for sale – see our Items for Sale page.
